Terms & Condition

General Requirements
  • Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your charter as this allows the Skipper to provide the mandatory safety briefing and to ensure you leave on time for your trip.
  • Make sure you bring your own esky to store your fish in at the end of the day and your own filleting knives.
  • Please bring any preferred travel calm or personal medication that you may require upon the charter and notify the Skipper of any medical needs required throughout the trip.
  • We will have travel calm available on board for customers if needed.
Number of Passengers Policy
  • Maximum number of passengers is 10.
  • Minimum number of passengers is 1. Arrow’s Fishing Charters requires a minimum of 5 passengers to make a trip and in the event that no other individual bookings can be taken for a particular date, a minimum charge of 5 people applies or individuals can nominate an alternative date.
Bookings and Payments Policy
  • All bookings require a deposit of 50%. This can be done over the phone with your credit card details or bank deposit into our account.
  • The person making the booking is responsible for the total payment of the organised trip. If they have made a booking for 5 people and only 4 people turn up, then they are responsible for making up the difference.
  • For Companies or Work Parties we can invoice the deposit/full amount to you. Your booking will be confirmed once the deposit has been received. We can also provide receipts for tax purposes.
Weather Policy
  • All bookings require a deposit of 50%. This can be done over the phone with your credit card details or bank deposit into our account.
  • In an instance where the weather may turn unexpectedly it is at the discretion of the Skipper as to deem it safe or unsafe to proceed with the charter.
Refund Policy
  • Do our customer receive a refund? Yes, but your refund will be in form of credit which means that your deposit will be held with us to use at a later date or alternatively we can issue a gift voucher for the deposit amount paid us for you to use at a later date or to gift to someone
Deposit Policy
  • We require a 50% deposit of the charter cost.
Cancellation or Reschedule Policy
  • We require 72 hours notice of a cancellation or reschedule. If we are notified within this time frame you can request your deposit or reschedule at a later date. If we are NOT notified within this time frame, your deposit will be non refundable.
Late Policy
  • If you are more than 15 minutes late to your charter booking and the Skipper has been unable to get in contact with you, the Skipper may proceed without you due to other customers being onboard and your deposit will be non refundable.
Safety Briefing Policy
  • A safety brief is given on board before departure.
  • All customers must declare any pre-existing medical conditions or any medication prior to booking and departure (as some people may require special attention).
  • We have the right to ask any customer to wear a life jacket at any time.
  • All children under 16 need to be accompanied by an adult (and they must wear a life jacket at all times).
  • Those who are unable to swim are asked to wear a life jacket at all times.
Special Needs Policy
  • The Skipper requires notification of any customer(s) with special needs without discrimination due to the circumstances for additional crew member(s) that may be needed for extra assistance.
Gift Voucher Policy
  • Gift vouchers must be mentioned when booking a charter and to be produced at the time of boarding, otherwise you will have to pay the full fee.
  • If the customer holding the voucher misses the trip on the booked day without providing notice or is late and boat has left port, then the voucher will be forfeited.
  • Gift vouchers are not transferrable or refundable.
  • Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months of purchase.
Alcohol Consumption Policy
  • Alcohol is allowed onboard the vessel, however responsible consumption of alcohol is to be adhered to.
  • The Skipper reserves the right too: end a charter early if passengers are consuming alcohol irresponsibly and behaving inappropriately with no refund.
Behaviour Policy
  • It is required that all customers behave in a safe and respectful manner to all staff, other customers and our property.
  • If we find that there has been loss or damage to our equipment or vessel due to negligence or inappropriate behaviour then the customer(s) will be liable for replacement or repair of the item (funds will be taken from the credit card that is held for security).
  • The Skipper reserves the right to cancel a trip short and your payment forfeited if inappropriate or unsafe behaviour is displayed.
Privacy Policy
  • All details obtained from customers i.e. telephone numbers, email address, postal address, credit card and bank account details, are only utilised for the sole purpose of Arrow’s Fishing Charters. Your details are never sold, distributed or released to any other parties or bodies. In the instance of a dishonoured or unauthorised credit card use these details will be forwarded to legal or recovery professionals.​
COVID-19 Policy
  • Customers will be required to apply hand sanitiser prior to boarding the vessel
    Customers will be asked to stay 1.5m distance apart as marked on the docks and around the vessel
  • No passenger will be allowed in the cabin area
  • Passengers will be encouraged and reminded to maintain a safe physical distance from crew and other passengers
  • Hand sanitiser will be readily available for use throughout the trip
  • A hand washing station with soap and water are available for passengers requiring the use of it
  • Passenger numbers are limited to 6 people per charter
  • All surfaces and equipment will be disinfected and sanitised before and after each charter – as required by Safe Work Australia
  • All bookings will be contactless i.e. email, phone, message etc
  • The vessel has COVID-19 signage and posters visible for friendly reminders around the deck
  • All passengers will be asked questions regarding COVID-19 prior to securing their booking
  • If you are presenting symptoms of COVID-19 such as fevers, dry cough, tiredness, headaches, sore throat, aches and pains, chest pain/pressure and/or difficulty in breathing and shortness of breath, please refrain from attending your charter and advise us as early as possible.
  • Refunds are available within 48 hours-notice
  • If the skipper notices any passenger(s) that have visible symptoms of COVID-19, he is instructed to advise you to reschedule your charter or spot for a later date. If you do not wish to reschedule, any payment(s) made prior to booking is non refundable
